Tagtog is collaborating in a historical project with the Digital Humanities Hub group, at Lancaster University, UK. The group recently wrote an article sharing how they are applying NLP & text mining techniques to study early colonial history, working with excerpts from the 16th century of the Nueva España🗡 and Mexico 🇲🇽. The researchers are creating a corpus to annotate geographical locations and other historical events. Check out the article 🙂:
